The task before us is meant to be lapidary in its essence—brief but to the point; apt and concise. Let's focus on its content and execution, on the functionality of message transmission. The main transfer variables have a physical basis. They are the critical distance, volatility of the intent, emitting level, sum of the layers, interface of another, local stress, permeability, breakthrough, off-run. Our assignment is to test our presence of mind, haptic memory, and to find new, functional connections with others.
Group exploration of the creation and transmission of meanings through drawing and action is a common playing field. The intention of the workshop is to explore the individual components of transfer - the visuality and meaning-making of signs, the role of haptic memory/response, the development, sharing and testing of transfer strategies, exploring the possibilities of connection. It uses drawing, space, touch, game format and common sharing.
